Aviao
Terms of Service
Last updated October 2026
Welcome to Aviao. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aviao mobile application, the Aviao website and Business OS at aviao.io, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Who we are
Aviao provides aviation-training education, practice tools, an AI assistant (“Avi”), a Pilot Passport progress record, simulator training, and community, booking, and business-management features for student pilots, pilots, instructors, flight schools, and enthusiasts.
Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Aviao (or the minimum age required in your country). If you are under the age of majority, you may use Aviao only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. The same account works on the app and the website.
Educational content — not operational authority
Aviao’s lessons, ATC practice, checkride-prep tools, simulator missions, readiness estimates, and AI responses are for training and study only. They are not a substitute for instruction from a certificated flight instructor (CFI), an approved training program, official FAA publications, a designated pilot examiner, or current aeronautical information.
Never rely on Aviao for real-world flight planning, weather, navigation, or go/no-go decisions. Always confirm regulatory and safety information against current, authoritative sources and your instructor.
Simulator Training
Simulator missions flown with the Aviao Simulator Bridge are recorded as Simulator Training and never count as flight time or toward FAA aeronautical-experience requirements unless an authorized instructor logs them in an approved device. The bridge is provided as-is and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
Pilot Passport & shared data
The Pilot Passport lets you record and optionally share training progress, hours, credentials, and endorsements. You control what is shared and with whom. Information you enter yourself is self-reported and is labeled separately from data imported from connected sources where applicable.
Businesses, bookings & instructors
Aviao lets you discover and book lessons with instructors and schools, and lets businesses manage their services and clients. Instructors and schools are independent third parties; Aviao does not employ them and is not responsible for the instruction, aircraft, scheduling, or services they provide. Any agreement for lessons is between you and the provider.
If you operate a business on Aviao, you are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, for having a lawful basis to add and contact your clients, and for complying with the laws and regulations that apply to your services.
Subscriptions & payments
Some features may require a paid subscription. Where subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by that platform under its terms. Prices and features may change with notice.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no infringing or harmful content, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, and no harassment of other users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aviao is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on training content.
Changes & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
